The 27 LED light is easy to lie flat to project light against the ceiling, giving enough light for several people to move around; the hook allows it to be hung from any nail or rod, light is brilliant white. It is not a heavy duty instrument but well worth the price. It is an excellent addition to your emergency supplies. Runs on 3 AAA batteries, and a set of batteries is included with purchase.

When the light showed up, it was turned ON in the packaging due to crappy packing job. Button fully exposed. Packaging was hot and you could easily see the light was on before even opening. Guess that's a credit to the brightness of the light. However batteries which should have been new are near dead. Packaging FAIL.

Very very nice little light source... fits in the palm nicely, and the full lamp has quite a bright throw... also has a lower light beam on the end. Going to keep on in the car, and one around the house!

It's amazing that this light works with 3 AAA batteries (supplied). Bright isn't the word. Brilliant 27 LED Lamp. I've found it indispensable when working on my computer. The magnetic mount and swiveling hook make it infinitely versatile. I bought six. One for my roommate, my sister, my brother-in-law, my dad, and one for the janitor of my building! They love them. An amazing bargain.

Good but eats batteries fast!
Very handy to have a few around.
Works as described.
I keep these in a few room in case the power goes out and one in the car to help with repairs. But you do need to keep checking the batteries, or get rechargeables.

This light is overall pretty good. There are a few bugs with it such as the button shorts out the light and you can't shake it around at all. It will mess the light totally up. This item needs a better button circuit or what ever powers it's buttons. If the button problem was fixed, I would definitely buy a lot of these items and recommend them.

I should've known that I wasn't going to get an industrial type light for $3. I saw the product's picture and assumed (my mistake) that this was a man-sized light that I could use while working in my garage or under the hood of the car. To my dismay, it's a baby sized light that i can use working under my sink (maybe). also, its made out of cheap plastic and just feels like something Tim the tool-man Allen would NEVER have in his toolbox. that being said, for a small light, its pretty bright.

Good price for the 27 LED Superbright Worklight/Flashlight w/ Built-In Hook Hanger & Magnet but mine came in "on" and the battery already drained. I think it could use a better packaging if the battery is pre-installed.

Product arrived on time. It was packed in a padded envelop. When I opened the package, the light was on. Checking the 3 AAA batteries that came with it, they have all drained down from 1.5V to 1.1V. Otherwise, the product seems to work well. It is all plastic so do not expect it to be very durable - time will tell. As I plan to keep it in my car, I will find out how well it stands up to heat and cold swing in a typical Texas day.

Nice compact little light. Hook attachment looks fragile and could easily break off if twisted the wrong way, so handling with care is recommended. Magnet on back is cool optional way to mount unit on a metal surface. Battery compartment a little difficult to get to, but solid unit all around. For the price can't be beat, but that's probably because it's made in China by slave labor.

This light was a little smaller than I expected but is nice and bright! It has 2 settings, one turns on the main light and the other turns on a smaller light at the end of the unit that acts as a small flashlight. There is also a small magnet on the back which is a nice feature.

This is our second order of these, we liked the first one we got so much we decided we would get more. Nice small light with magnet and hook on the back sticks to file cabinet until you need it then it has plenty of light for most jobs

Great when we lost power 2/24/2013
It worked so well when we lost power for an extended period of time - I bought additional for my spouse and for each of my sons. It is compact emough to fit in a jacket pocket. The hook swivels so you can hang it and then redirect the beam. Magnet is strong. I attached it to my metal tool box when not in use so I know where it is if the power goes out
