the flashlight is not working properly 1. can't turn off the light where the screws are. 2. the main flashlight does not work 3. the on/off switch is defective? I took out the battery in order to shut off the small light. Keep it in the car for other emergency use like the belt cutter, glass breaker. Hopefully I won't need to use.!!!!

A good multifunction tool with common emergency features. The only thing missing is a spring-loaded (i.e. center punch) tool for breaking windows when swinging a hammer is impractical. Note: I have never seen a multifunction rescue tool with this feature, but I would certainly like to.

I ordered two of these emergency tools, one for my car and one for my wife's car. The quality is about what I would expect given the cost. The handle/body of the unit is made of thick but cheap-feeling plastic. The hammer head is sturdy and the flashlight is bright enough, but the switch to turn it was broken on one of my units. Over all, it'll do the job in case of emergency, but I wouldn't expect to get heavy daily use out of this. Fortunately, you should only need it in rare cases.

Although it comes with many screwdriver heads, you can't really use any of them, as the hole in the handle that separates from the handle assembly (not 1 piece) then allows it to free spin. So in reality, it's really just a light and emergency glass punch, with a cutter for the seat belt (which I think is cheaply made too)

The LEDs are bright but the unit is of medium quality. The switch slides too easy making it very possible to accidentally turn it on and run it dead. Out of the two I purchased, one I had to kind of hit on my hand to get the LED to turn on after putting in the batteries. So it's your typical McDonald's happy meal manufacturing. But in the case of an emergency, it's better than nothing.
