Sound System for computer 4/12/2012
I was disappointed that there were no Bass or Treble adjustments on this system. Sound was like listening to a radio.

Cool for Freshmen, but not for upper class men.. 4/2/2012
As you can see in the picture, your under the impression that the unit is a decent size. That would not be a problem, if the sound is quality was there, which in this case its not.
I did not get the clarity, thickness, and lack of distortion that I thought would be there considering the listed retail value, and although it was ready to go right out the box, for my ear, this is not the right purchase.
To sum it up: this is the set you give to your little bro/sis, not what you have in your room.

Low-end Speakers, Low-end Performance 3/22/2012 Rick from Florida
Used these speakers to augment a TV in a kitchen. Certain added the low end to the sound. Kind of "muddy". They did pretty much what I expected a low-end PC speaker system would do, so they worked for me. Volume knob on sub controls all volume.

you won't be surprised with this product 10/14/2011 andrew from centreville, va
overall this system is what i expected, not what i hoped for. it looks nice, is clean and simple to use, works reasonably well, but is not going to wow you.
i am satisfied and would recommend it as long as you properly set your expectations.

Looks great, sounds TERRIBLE 9/25/2011
These speakers look great - especially the sub on your desktop - and are easy to set up, but the distortion on the low end is so bad that they are unlistenable. I'm running them from my MacBook Pro as just a way to get better sound than the laptop speakers when listening to my iTunes library. The distortion in the bass is so bad, I'm returning these and going back to my laptop speakers. The price is very tempting, but these aren't worth even the price of the shipping.

Overpriced, underperforming. 9/7/2011
I got these speakers expecting to get a nice heavy set of speakers. Instead I got a small light and difficult to use speaker system. They sound good to a point and then the distortion sets in. If you want to set the subwoofer anywhere besides your desk i hope you have easy access to lower the volume since the knob is on the sub.
They do sound good but like i said only for so long.

Cheap - do not expect 20 Watts. 5/18/2011 Peter from NY
Working fine only up to 3/4 of power, lots of distortions after that. My 5 Watts MP3 speakers going louder than this.

200 Watts - yea right 5/11/2011
I believe the woofer is a 3.5 cone (just going off memory), satellite speakers sound pretty clear. This does not sound bad at low volume, but it wasn't long before this thing was farting out, not handling the bass very well. Just don't expect too much, they obviously inflated the retail and did not specify speaker dimensions. Look at shipping weight, 6lbs, this can tell you a lot about what you are getting - the actual subwoofer enclosure wasn't any more than 8-10 inches tall. 200 watts, but the real question is RMS, which is not very impressive. I should listen to my gut more often, I did find a use for it, but it wasn't what I anticipated it being.
